Kishimjan Ketner,
AGPC-NP, MSN
Kishim is a Board Certified Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner originally from Kyrgyzstan. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.
Kishim completed the Family Nurse Instructor Program in Kyrgyzstan at the Institute of Higher Education and joined the faculty after her training. Soon after she worked for the internationally recognized organization, Doctors Without Borders.
In 2006, she came to the United States as a Visiting Scholar to Southwestern College’s Nursing Program working with Nursing Students.
She has 20+ years of experience in Medicine working in Primary Care, Academia, Long Term and Skilled Nursing Facilities in the United States and overseas. She is fluent in Kyrgyz, Russian and English and can communicate in a few other Central Asian languages.
Her holistic approach and dedication to patient care make her a trusted and compassionate practitioner in the field of Integrative medicine.
When she is not busy with patient care, she enjoys time with her family, friends, and gardening. She likes the outdoors, hiking and travelling.
